1. Click on the link to ProQuest - All databases
    (it may ask for your Davenport log in, just log in and it will take you directly to the database)
  2. Make sure it's on the advanced search screen. If it's not, click on the words 'advanced search' at the top of the page. This way you will have more than one search box to enter keywords into.
  3. In the first box type in Management
  4. In the second box type in one of the functions of management either:  leadership, planning, organizing, or controlling
  5. Under the search options, click on the box next to peer reviewed and the one next to full-text.
    That way when you hit search, it will find peer reviewed articles for you that are full text.
    Then hit search.
  6. When you get to the result page, look for the full text or full-text PDF links to get the article.
  7. You can also use the left side tool bar to narrow down the search. Try narrowing the publication date down to more recent years.  Also look at the suggested subjects at the top of the result page. They will give you an idea of other words/phrases you can use to search for articles.
