What do I do when ProQuest Ebook Central says "You have been timed out due to inactivity. To continue, please refresh this page.
This means that Ebook Central has detected the existence of a previous session that has timed out.

With Proquest Ebooks, they will time out after 30 minutes of inactivity. So when you try to return to the e-book it will give you that message. Usually refreshing the page will bring it back.

If that doesn't work, try the following:

  • Clear your cache.
  • Close and then open your browser. Try using Chrome or Firefox.
  • Then click the link to the e-book again. It should open up after that.
