Databases: For Currently Enrolled Students Only
Only currently enrolled students have access to the Library's subscription databases.  If you are off for a semester or have graduated, you will no longer be able to access the Library databases.  Some of the DU databases are provided by the state of Michigan through MeL.  If you are a Michigan resident, you can get access to those databases, even after you have left Davenport. 

Databases: Additional Personal Logins
In an effort to offer personalized services (such as retaining previous searches, notes, lists etc) or to allow downloading, some databases require you to set up an additional personal login:

  • Learning Express Library: click register
  • Mintel Reports: click 'I agree' at the bottom of the first page and then "Create a Profile" with your Davenport email
  • Westlaw: for Paralegal students only, student is e-mailed the login from Westlaw 

Databases: Security Certificate Warnings
A couple of the databases (such as Westlaw) may give security certificate warnings. You should click on through and connect to the databases without any worries that there is something wrong with the site.

Databases: No additional Logins
None of the other databases should prompt you for an additional login. If they do ask you to login again, try clearing your cache and cookies, rebooting your computer, and try connecting again. If none of those measures help, please contact us using one of the following:
